Hi All. My ques is very basic ... I want to connect a Tripod Screw (1/4" UNC) with a NMEA 17 (5mm Bore) Motor Shaft. I am looking for a rigid type coupler which can accept Motor Shaft from one side and from other side 1/4" Tripod Screw. Any advise please? Thanks in advance. Regards.

Thanks Rick for reply. So I need to use 5mm to 6.35mm Coupler. I'll look for it. I like to ask for another suggestion ... I also need to connect a Tripod Screw to the Bottom of NEMA 17 Motor. I made a plan but surely its not a good idea ... I am thinking to use "Mini V Gantry Plate" and make drill to its center hole to 1/4" Threaded UNC. Then screw mount this plate to Motor Bottom (by removing the screw from Motor bottom). Though there is around 1mm deviation (Orange circle marked in picture) between the screw position of Motor and Plate. Any advise on it or any other better option? Actually my plan is to make a NEMA-17 Pan-Tilt Head for Camera. I want to connect a Arca Swiss Quick Release Clamp to Motor Shaft and connect a Universal L-Bracket in Motor Back. Both connection using 1/4" UNC Nut. Thanks in advance. Regards.
I would probably be more inclined to cut some 50mm angle into 44mm lengths, drill them similar to common nema 17 mounts and then mount them using flanged hubs. Basic idea shown below. Sketch not fully detailed but you get the idea. Sketchup file attached below.

Just bolt on another piece of angle. You can either thread a hole in the bottom of this angle or if you question the integrity of the threads in aluminum, add a more substantial threaded steel plate to the bottom.
