Electronics for C-Beam Plate Maker

    Can someone please recommend and electronics kit for the C-Beam machine (plate maker). Thanks!

    Awesome! I was told to buy a CNC from a company that had a good community around it to go to when help is needed. Looks like this is definitely not the place.

    Sorry you got this impression. It is a great place with many active and helpful members. The Xpro V 4 is very popular. The DQ542MA stepper drivers combined with an Arduino is also popular. There is tons of information in the Controller board thread. If this were posted there, someone may have picked up on this sooner.

    If you are using higher amperage stepper motors then use the DQ542MA drivers. If not, the XPro is plug and play and can also control external drivers if you were to upgrade at a later date.
