I have a question; I submitted a build, but I noticed the time moves forward every time I make a modification. Will it still qualify if I add files after the deadline?
When the finalists are announced, will we be able to vote on more than one? (I would recommend this - I think there are at least 3 that are deserving of my vote. I'd hate to just pick one...)
Done: https://openbuilds.com/projectresources/dewalt611-bracket.290/ Actually - Going to do up one for a Dremel and equivalent (actually for that matter, might just draw up some various sized 2 x half bushings to insert in the holder itself to suit different flavours of Dremel, Ryobi, etc.) - all because I just had a brilliant idea that I can use the CNC for programmatic PCB drilling - it's been a while since I've made up my own PCBs, and truth be known the tedium involved in drilling a hundred 0.6mm hole is probably what stops me, escpecially when not having a drillpress to do it means getting a good number of them Mangled by doing it by hand...oh and the odd hole in the hand! haha I'll update against that Resource and my Build when done.
PCB's can be done using your regular router, just need a smaller collet to accept the tiny bits. I've done some with my 2 1/2 HP router without any problems.
kewl - I was of course thinking about the fact I haven't won the Dewalt yet...haha, and just catering for the wider audience with different options I suppose... So for me I need the adapting bush will be for one of my ryobi units which is slightly smaller, but also not quite round RYOBI Tools - also it will give me a chance to test if that whole setup even works at all, otherwise I will just scrap it and recant the resource - HAHA.
I how this was asked once, but I don't think it was answered. When are the finalist going to be posted so the voting can start?
