I built up a 250mm C-Beam linear axis using the bundle, and decided to see how much deflection there is. There isn't any play laterally, but if you look at "roll" (rotating the plate around the leadscrew axis), there is a significant amount of play. It's probably 0.1mm - 0.2mm, but when you add a vertical extrusion to the top of the gantry plate, this means your end effector is not going to hold position very well.

When I watch the xtreme mini wheels as I apply force to the gantry plate I can see the wheels themselves shift, even though I have them tight -- possibly tighter than is recommended.

Has anyone else experienced this and have suggestions for fixing this issue?

How much force did you apply? I have noticed very little play in my system. I cut aluminum, plastics, and wood with it and the parts come out with the measurements I intended. That being said, I have never tried to make it do what you did. Some people do not like the wheels and switched to linear rails. I have not seen the need for that myself yet. It does what I need it to do far more accurately than I would have predicted since I designed and built it myself after lurking here for several months studying other peoples designs.

Very little force. You can see the wheel move up and down along its axis tapping it with your finger or any other pointy instrument.

Are you using the mini wheels? Also, perhaps on a gantry configuration it's not a big deal, but unfortunately for this particular axis, I was planning on having a slightly cantilevered load. Also the main axis is now going to be a XL CBeam gantry plate and hopefully won't have the deflection issue, as I'll be mounting a CBeam linear axis directly to its gantry plate for a simple XY stage.

I did not see that you were using the mini V wheels. No, I do not have them. My wheels run on the outside of the cbeam so there is less of a "lever" affect.

Ok, I think I'll order another XL gantry plate as a replacement. Thanks!
