I thought that you're supposed to move the router anti-clockwise on outside of work piece and clockwise on inside holes of work piece. On my CNC router, the router moves clockwise on outside of work piece and anti-clockwise on inside holes of work piece. In VCarve 9.5, the direction is set to climb, not conventional. Should I change direction?
You will probably get a cleaner finish on wood with conventional milling. Better on metal with climb milling. For soft plastic like polystyrene I use conventional, haven't tried harder plastic like acrylic. Alex.
