I have been using this for a few days now with actual parts. The results have been very good, and I find it easy to adjust for different geometries. If you build one, please post your results and any mods you make. Neil
Hi again all. I've been using this now for a couple weeks, the results are really good. I may have some add-ons coming, so keep an eye on the Thingiverse posting. Thanks to all who have checked it out!
Figure $10 for the motor, another $20 for misc Openbuilds parts, $2 for the timing belt and o-rings, $3 for pulleys, $2 for the connector. No more than a couple bucks of 3d printed plastic. Best guess is just under $40.
