Has anyone tried using a plastic screw for material to hold-down material on a CNC? Would be nice to cut through the screw rather than break a bit when you screw up (pun intended). Something like.... McMaster-Carr Of course the smarter thing to do would be to add the hold-down screws locations to the drawings and do the pilot holes before the main cutting job.
You can get 1/4- 20 nylon screws and nuts at big box stores like Lowe's or that other one where the customer service sucks and no one is ever around willing to help you. My local True Value Hardware also has them.
