I'm using the Blackbox controller and I'm going to get the triple edge finder. What do I need to do to use this "probe" with the Blackbox? I am new to CNC.

It depends on what controller software you are using. I use Estlcam and it is pretty straight forward and there are video tutorials on how to do it. There are many different probing functions with that software. Most people here use the Openbuilds controller software so they may be able to help you out if you go that route.

Here is a quick video on center finding of a round object I did with a piece of ABS pipe. I needed a slightly larger inner diameter for an adaptor for my dust collection system and a solid piece would be a much quicker and stronger piece than a 3D printed part. I used aluminum tape as my "probe." Pardon the crappy video quality. I used my phone and for some reason, it was choppy.

Built-in, only Z probing (for now, XYZ coming very very soon)

For now, here's a Macro you can use/modify: Add it on the Macros Tab
