Is there any problem if I use 36V power source with DQ542MA (with correct current limit) and Nema 17? The motor's webpage says: 12-24VDC (Recommended). Is there any reason why 36V would not be Ok? I have read that the maximum voltage depends on inductance L [mH]: Vmax = 32 * sqrt(L)So, in this case the maximum voltage would be 53V.
Yes, will not be a problem, the driver will current regulate, higher voltage gets you more speed potential. Cheers Gary
