Two weeks ago I got my workbee and software running. In the meantimeI updated my machine to MAX OSX Catalina. Now CAM does not have the transfer button anymore to send GCODE to Control. Exporting creates a OBC file the Control does not open. Any ideas how to fix this? CAN I save GCODE NC?

Apparently yes (at least, on Windows).

Be sure to grab the latest version from time to time at OpenBuilds Software - FREE Software for CNC Control: OpenBuilds CONTROL and OpenBuilds CAM - old version / versions with expired certificates / etc will not be able to use the Transfer function

As mentioned above, you can save the gcode, but if you are running outdated versions of CONTROL, its more of a concern that you don't have the latest versions will all nice new features and bug fixes :) - refer to the Changelog tab under CONTROL at https://software.openbuilds.com

Thanks. Yes, later found the small "save button". This is what I am using now instead of the transfer. And I have the latest version of control. Checked that first.

    OpenBuildsCAM > Press Ctrl+shift+I
    Click on the Console tab
Screenshot any red errors that come up when it scans for instances of control.

A little more detail of what it does:

Just to add to the choir --------- Had the same problem pop up on my MacBook Air running Catalina 10.15.2 during similar time frame, am suspecting a recent auto update from Apple. I routinely save generated g-code files for future use so importing from file into Control is not really an overall productivity consideration ....... just have had to change order things are done, (new "muscle memory" learning curve). A side note, migrated from Windows 10 PC to try and alleviate an unpredictable Control freezing up problem on jobs running an hour or more. Six months in no hint of the problem using the MacBook Air. Dusted off the PC a few weeks ago, let it update Control, froze on the first try about 45 minutes in.

    Ahhh! Now that is unexpected!

The letencrypt certificates we use arent expired on time yet (they expire every 90 days) but! I found this! Revoking certain certificates on March 4 They revoked several certificates, and they didnt notify me! That took some digging to find the link!
OK so now we know why - I'll pop in new certificates (renewal was for due for 29 March anyway, so not that early, can do it now) and release a new version on our end with new certificates :)

Thanks for the help catching it!
