Hi I got an xyz probe plate, and put commands in UGS macro, it moves ok on the macro commands but when it touches the plate it just wont stop on contact.
I have noticed that the $6 probe command is set to $=0 which means it's diabled? (I think)
I tried changng the command to $=1, but when I use the macro commands it moves a little then stops and it goes into red alarm mode?.
    Any help would be great
    Thanks

$6 is Probe Pin Invert. Normally ($6=0) it's held high, and your probe switch needs to ground it to trigger. If your probe is connected to +5V, then you need to invert it ($6=1) so that it's grounded and when pulled high it's triggered.

Beyond that, it's extremely machine-specific, depending on wiring and general setup and all that good stuff.
