Hi took a look but its not relivent, I have hooked up everything ok (see picture above). But when my tool touches the plate it will not stop on contact ...its keeps rolling on.... can anyone help
Is the version of the controller correct for what you're trying to wire it for? The only version I see that has the same input labels as you (AX RA FH etc) is this one: grbl 0.9 with PWM spindle output uses this pinout: So you're looking for an A5 pin connection somewhere. Which, in this original xPRO diagram is in the "jumper" block:
Nice one Rob, I was informed that my board is a V3 Xpro, so used connections as per my photo, As you say its a V2 XPRO. your top of the shop can i still fit my touchplate? where can I find info for the correct connections to to use, not brill on electronics.. If i find any answers/solutions I will post it here to help other members. big help BIG thanks Cheers
Do you see all three images in my post? If not, wait a little while for them to load, I don't know why they're slow. That's all the (useful) information I could find, but you'd have to test the board connections yourself. Honestly, it's a 5-year-old board from the fairly early days of hobbyist CNC commercialization so documentation may be thin on the ground. Replacement at the earliest opportunity (with a BlackBox, @Peter Van Der Walt would prefer ) is probably the way to go.
Ok I get it, now thanks. (old is still beautiful) got connections, so made up this photo and text see attached, incase if it helps anyone.
Thanks again Rob....guess what it works too... keep up the good work people. Hope my small piece of the jigsaw, helps. Thank you Frank
