A couple of bits of Vectric 3d clipart, profile cuts and pocket cuts. Straightforward project apart from having to make a jig to hold the end pieces for cutting the pockets on the inside, and I had to cut a pocket in my spoilboard to get the height I needed to cut a pocket in the feet. Oh - and lots of sanding! Mrs C has been complaining for years about newspapers left lying around on the chair she wants to sit on (I'm supposed to leave them on my chair?) and it's hard to avoid the complaints during lockdown so I thought I'd make this in order to keep the peace. The drawer base from a victorian wardrobe provided the mahogany for the ends (approx 300 x 400 x 9.5 mm), an offcut of mahogany left over after helping my son build himself an electric wheelchair provided the feet ( 2 off 190 x 50 x 19 mm) and some 1/4" plywood for the sides. End pieces;- Roughing pass 1/4" two flute router bit S 10,000 rpm, Feed 2000 mm/min, stepover 3.175mm, plunge 254 mm/min, DOC 1 mm. I will post the *.crv files later - they are too big at the moment so will have to zip them. Alex.
