I have downloaded sketchUP loaded he OX drawings but nothing I can use I see the gantry end plates no dimensions nothing I really do not understand that program. I am sure there must be dimensions but how to get to them?
You can export the drawings in dxf format, you are good to go. You can install the extensions from Extension Warehouse (2nd last icon at the top) if you don't already have on under "File->Export to DXF to STL"
that was great help. Managed to get it in cad now I can work on it Must admit though from my long ago engineering days metric is not my choice of units but I can manage that conversion easily in cad. I have been looking at the OX build drawing and getting some size information now I need to short the Parts I see what appears to be (4) gantry end plates two of each I have to sort that one. I am at lease on my way now. thanks for all the help.
