With the origin at the top of the stock all Z cutting motion is negative, perfectly normal. Z negative motion will move the bit through the material. All CNC machines must follow the 'right hand rule' for motion directions, even if they are upside down like the Phlatprinters. Please create a forum post and attach your Fusion file so I can look at it.

Using Right Hand Rule Z+ is up... This processor gives me a -Z 10 to start and plunges and moves x,y... It should start with +Z10 move to x/y and begin cut

The BlackBox runs GRBL so you need a GRBL post. If there is no post labelled as such then use the one that outputs the simplest Gcode, this means
G1/G2/G3 codes are ok,
metric and imperial (G20,G21) are both fine,
NO toolchange codes,
no tool offsets
the full list of supported codes is on the GRBL wiki at github.com

If you have flashed directly through the ISP port before you will have to do that again because that will overwrite the bootloader that allows USB port flashing.

The critical thing when flashing a /hex/ are the fuse settings, getting those wrong even a little bit can make it freeze up. Plenty of web sites detailing how to unbrick an Atmega328p so just Google it.

Dear David,

I have tried to flash it through USB using XLoader, and the 5V LED light on and USB LED flickers as it would when flashing. But, XLoader says "Uploading", but this never stops. Flickering USB LED for long minutes and minutes, very strangely.

I will google the unbricking and let you know here the result.

A brief search shows that Inkscape can automatically trace an image. Then you can export that and import it into sketchup.
