I’m a quenbe CNC owner and I’ve been working on a side project called ALIG (Advanced Laser Imaging Generator). I wanted a lightweight tool that gives full control over the G-Code output.
I built this specifically to solve the "stuttering" issues in Mach4 by supporting synchronized analog commands, but I made it universal so it works for everyone.
Key Features
Why use ALIG?
- 100% Free & Open Source: This tool is free to use for the community. While donations are never required, they are greatly appreciated to help support further development!
- Dual Mode Support:
- M67/M68 (Analog): Optimized for Mach4/PoKeys users for instant power modulation.
- S (Spindle): Standard PWM commands for GRBL and other controllers.
- Highly Customizable: Define your own Custom Headers & Footers to match your machine's safety and start-up routines.
- Clean Grayscales: Includes Latency Correction (to align pixels at high speed) and Thermal Ramp (to prevent charring).
- No Install Required: Standalone .exe for Windows (portable).
If you find that your current software is a "black box" or if you're struggling with laser sync issues on Mach4, ALIG gives you back control over every line of G-Code generated.

I'm currently in Beta (v0.95b) and would love to hear your feedback, especially if you are using it on different types of machines!
