Water based Poly
Photoluminescent
This week project is about math. My youngest kid is starting first grade and i wanted him to have a multiplication table in his room to look at before falling a sleep, i think this will make him memorize it very easily.
The process was like this:
- First painted the mdf black, this would be the background color
- Added 3 layers of water based poly, this would seal and make removing the excess of photoluminescent paint while filling the numbers
- V carved the numbers
- Added the paint and quickly removed the excess
- At this point i found that grid lines where necessary so i v carded those also
- Added some additional paint
- Charged the paint under the light
I think this would hame come a little better if i used some resin and glow in the dark pigment but for some reason this type of powder cannot be shipped by plane
Hope you liked this project.
