I almost just bought one for 6 dollars on Amazon with one-day free shipping, but where's the fun in that? Sooo lets take all day to make one Water Cooling Flow Meter from scratch lol.
I just finished building a new CO2 laser using an Openbuilds Acro Laser platform as the base. I reinforced and built up the Acro so it could hold a CO2 laser tube.
After running it a couple times, I really couldn't tell if the water cooling for the CO2 tube was actually flowing or not. I read somewhere that it doesn't take long to melt your tube if the water stops flowing. It was at this point I could hear the LEAD CNC behind me saying "Pick me! Pick me! I can cut acrylic" I gleefully drafted up the model in Fusion 360 and fed to the LEAD machine! Model files attached to this project if you'd like. Please check out the video, hope you enjoy!
