So here's a display stand that I've been working on for about a week, its decked out with with speakers, a monitor, batteries, low voltage controllers, and chargers, and a bunch more. It's made out of a material that I've never used before called Starboard, or HDPE Marine board. Its very very machinable and really just a pleasure to work with. The stand has a pretty cool acrylic sign on the top that the LEDs shine through for a cool effect. I used the 40 watt laser to etch the 1/2 inch acrylic at only 9% power. The Starboard was broken down on the table saw and then machined on the LEAD CNC. Be Careful to wear a respirator, the Starboard will give you a sore throat... ask me how I know. lol
