With this project you get three sizes of spoons; large, small and what I like to call "bottle" size because in can slide into the narrow necks of bottles to get out that last little bit. Each spoon is 14" long and the largest spoon is 2.25" wide.

This project is milled on two sides so it is very important to get your stock exactly 5.5" wide and your zero right on the corner so the sides match up. I used a marking gauge set for 3/8" to find my corner screw anchor points, drilled, countersunk and screwed into my spoil board. Doing it this way allows you to use boards that have a little twist.
Finish milling is done with a .013" overlap to give a finish with as little sanding as possible.
One of the modifications I made to the running of this project was to remove all the tabs at the ends of the spoons. With the cross grain these were problematic. I was able to develop some spoons with different function.
