My youngest was scared to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night, so I made this cool Crocodile (alligator?) light for the hallway. I wish I would have taken pics of the backside while carving, oh well.
Powered by a 9v battery hooked up to a switch, the battery lasts for maybe 3ish weeks at a time.

I grabbed the croc file from etsy, used a keyhole bit to cut a slot for LED's, carved recesses in the back and side for the battery and switch, and voila!

I have that same file, but had not thought of a good way to use it. This is a really cool idea.

Thanks! Adding lights/electronics or any kind of function to my wood goods always gives the project that added cool factor.
