Astrophotography needs

• Clear skies
• Low light pollution
• Clear view of sky without obstruction
• High altitude
• A southerly latitude for more even dark nights per year

I am from Scotland and have none of the above in my favour where I live!
So I got thinking and set to designing a mini observatory that I could site somewhere that meets needs as best as possible. That way I can hopefully get more nights imaging per year in better conditions.

I'll outline details of the build shortly- it's still under construction!.
