I've been trialing these little Party Trays over the weekend. They are not actually my design but I had to adapt them to my circumstances and machine. They are excellent party addition, surprisingly lightweight with the pocketing, consisting of an ample food/nibbles section with the ability to hold either a wine glass or beer can.
These are yet unfinished and will eventually be made from a hardwood mix then sealed.

    Hope you like them.

Thats a great idea! Is it comfortable with the handle?

      Hi David.
I had concerns when I first started to make them and that was one of the aspects of concern coupled with weight and distribution. I thought they would be too heavy. With all the pocketing they are extremely lightweight even loaded. I'm impressed and that's not easy lol. These were made from 21mm oak faced plywood floorboard so they are fairly thick. The plan is to glue 2 pieces of oak on either side of a 32mm wide darker hardwood strip (Mahogany perhaps) when I make them proper.

Awesome, it looked like the type of handle that would either be perfect or weird, hard to tell from a picture. Might have to make some of these. As soon as my Lead CNC finally gets out of "Waiting for Fulfillment"
