To convert decimals it's a bit harder... 1/4" is 6.35mm 1/8" is 3.175mm etc... but metric decimals are a lot easier!

You can go at 2 minutes 8 seconds in the first video in the builds section. They says to use 30mm screws to compensate for the width of the plate.
