@Jonathon Duerig That is just the blue protective film on the cast plate. A spoil board, jig or fixture will go on top of the tooling plate....

Yeah but most of my fixtures that I use already have locating pins :) So I'd have to redo them
I'm kinda at an impass. I've always used MIC6 plate for my builds for the table which allow for fixturing anywhere and the use of locating pins...

I'm actually working on a traverse system with digital readout using C Beam, stepper driven an encoder spur gear and rack :)
