pretty straight forward tho it can be explained with ohms law and P=IE. Energy is conserved. Any electrical energy that is lost by the circuit is...
The drop is in the voltage not the current. Look at input voltage and output voltage. This effect is pretty well documented I'm afraid to say....
think this thread must have exceeded its max page limit, posts keep disapearing lol
Hmm.. datasheet shows a drop between the input and output voltages, which means the chip steals voltage from the power supply and that wasted...
Well Think of it this way, at least you found fault before you plunged into an expensive piece of stock with an expensive bit, not mid job. Both...
Avoid all tb**** drivers, they are for 3d printing not CNC.
yes it has been mentioned once or twice but its a long thread. it was just an example of quiet praux, but a search for "mosfet dsp microstepping...
I think its fair to say that if people were to stop using tb6600, technical support posts would drop 75% just leaving the rest of the pwm chip...
A video I made comparing effects of current and motor noise, if you skip to the end the motors are powered correctly, I'd class that as quiet....
yeah ive read that, i know what your saying, microstepping vs torque. Just the fact you said the noisy motor and tb6600, they should be quiet. fix...
You do know that tb drivers dont actually output the current they say they do? Your motors are noisy because they are under powered hense why you...
7hours at 4m/min praux Don't think that you will get that from an ox. In fact I know you won't. But you are thinking correctly yes? 3mm doc = six...
Looking good.. it is of similar construction to mine :) Have you thought about strapping the two x profiles together? like mine its probably...
I agree, if your going to this extent. You would do away with wheels and use hiwin carriages.
Sure, mathematicaly it does sound extreme and doesn't equate so if I try to do it mathematicaly there's too many factors to make realistic, but...
Over that size sheet you also need to consider if you don't mind walking away from the cutting job. personally i do my best to avoid it, but an ox...
Beg your pardon 89 not o.89, imperial is all Irish to me
Having said that if it's the 0.89oz-in version its holding torque is less than I thought at 2.56kg.
That's nuts, take a fair bit of weight to turn a powered motor.
You can make a motor brake itself unpowered just need a switch to short one of the coils. Or use a relay to do it to make it automatic
