Thanks Peter, I did the comparison before not realising $40 could have been the issue....all fixed, cheers for quick response !
I have 2 Acro 1010's, one with firmware 1.0.376 and one with firmware 1.0.3.377. On the 377 firmware one, both the X and Y axis will only move...
thanks I may just stick with the 40" x 40". If I want to add a drag chain to the X axis, do I need to specify longer cables for the X axis motor...
Thank you. Does the price change, which model should I select ?
Looking to purchase my second Acro system, but would like a specific size due to space limitations. I need a work area of 800 * 600mm. I suspect...
Any more thoughts on this Coolant off issue, could I have a faulty Blackbox and how do I report it ? thanks
ok, still working on grbl tab one, will update when replicable. On coolant issue. Have done further testing.... Code very basic G0 X.... Y.......
Not really, I cut it down to code just containing M8, then G1 Coordinates. The coolant is controlling a solenoid valve, 24V which has led on it so...
No, still does it for me. Went back to no door switch firmware, disconnected switch and does it on that also. Pressing home, does however turn...
Yes on 1.0.376. I also notice sometimes the grbl tab dissappears, seems to come back, but cant work out why its not there....even though...
Works a treat now ! Only other issue is that the stop job button doesn't turn off coolant, is this a firmware setting ? thanks
****, just ordered 2 of those for the failsafe.....
Oh not as tricky as I thought, but some of the threads were from 2017 ! Is there a recommended switch ?
From what I read, its changing firmware, moving jumpers and installing switch, but they could have been old posts also. Wasn't quite sure then if...
Reading some forum posts around the door safety switch I may look at other options. Any issue you can see with simply connecting a 24V DC switch...
I think increasing to 1000mm/sec may be pushing the limits for my application, definitely more shaking of the X gantry in my case. Dialled it back...
Spoke too soon, indeed it was acceleration limiting the speed ! Have changed this to 1000mm/sec now and no jumping yet. Not sure yet how hotter...
Yes, set these higher than the F5000 the gcode uses, but will do some further investigations, cant see it being acceleration as my job has small...
Thanks Peter, yes, still reading as much as possible, but all still very new when you build yourself. My other CNC (1.2m by 0.8M) came all set...
After completing the Acro 1515 build and having played around with it for the last few days I have some further questions, although having read...
