Actually, in Estlcam, you can manually select where it cuts, so you do not have to lie. Just make the paths go beyond by more than the endmill...
Easy way is to lie to your cam and make your .dxf file larger on the side you do not want cut so the endmill goes around without touching it....
If you are using a cheap Chinese knock-off CNC shield, the pinout for GRBL 0.9 and up is wrong for one of the limit switches. See the gnea GRBL...
