    Hi all,
I am having the above issue with my black box. 1 of the 2 Y axies stops working when the machine has been on for some time (around 45 minuets). I have checked that all the wiring to both of the Y stepper motors is OK.
Once the BlackBox goes into this fault, I switched round the stepper motors to rule out it being a motor on the way out but the problem follows from the troubled output.
Has anyone come across this before?
Any help would be highly appriceated.

Peter, one more question - going off the document, with both of Y and Y2 turned all the way down, I am only able to stall one of the stepper motors (Y2), I increased until it couldn't stall Y2, looking into why I couldn't stall Y stepper I found that it is controlled via a 10k POT rather than 5k like the rest of the axies. Is this correct?

@Lewis Trafford would you please contact the Store via Submit a ticket - we'd love to swop out that BlackBox for you - so we can investigate yours closer.
Please include a link to this thread so they know what this relates to!

Thanks for giving us the chance to sort it out for you!

    Hi @Peter Van Der Walt,
I really appricate you looking into this for me, however, I have already made a purchase of the X32. Once I had ordered X32 I started to do some experimenting and soldered on a fixed 10k resistor to see if I could stall the stepper motor, with no sucess so I am guessing the controller had maybe over heated 1 to many times. Unfortunetly I have thrown away the old 10K POT. Had I of known you wanted the box back I wouldn't of touched it but not @'ing you in a post didn't help the matter.
    Thanks again! :)
