Hi I have a workbee 1510 belt drive and have upgraded the x axis with a leed screw what setting do I need to change in my black box software thanks as always joe
It depends on the size of the screw. If you go into the settings, there's a calculator next to the X steps per mn setting. Use that, save, then fine tune using the calibration wizard in wizards menu.
Then start with the same steps/mm setting. But make sure you also run the calibration wizard to compensate for difference in manufacturing tolerances.
You mean Y right? X is already a leadscrew on the 1510 If so, Set the Y axis steps per mm to 199.1 to start off: Click Save, and Reset when prompted
Thanks i,s there any other settings I have to change like speed as the belt was much faster than screw joe
