My 1515 as of the start of today is going red on my X32 for Y, Y2 even after restarting it, and on some restarts it's both Y and Y2 as well as Z. Nothing has changed since yesterday where I used it throughout the day, months with zero problems. All the wires are connected and good. Anyone have any thoughts on what I can trouble shoot?
Going into the heat of summer? Dial down current a bit docs:blackbox-x32:currentadjustment [OpenBuilds Documentation]
I just lowered the current on all axis and they have not come back on. I am in Florida, shop is quite hot. I powered down the DC converter last night but I guess the USB plug kept the x32 powered up over night, the X motor was extremely hot to touch when I went to get started on the machine. It's completely cool now. Out of curiosity how does immediate lowering of the current on each axis stop the faults? It's been 5-minutes and none have come back on, how do I know if I adjusted to low?
Setting up for a job with the current lowered, moving an axis manually just creates a pause and a slight tick and doesn't move. I raised the current multiple times but it continues to just click, as I raised the current the motors spooled up louder but it's showing the axis digital numbers moving and then at the end the motor clicks and that's it. All 3.
Just numbers moving for the axis during manual click and then a click like it tried to move after the numbers stopped. I've tinkered with the current settings to the point it's just low enough to not trigger red light, motors humming like they've always hummed
