Hi all, thanks for maintaining such a great resource! Just built up a 1515 Workbee, XPRO-V5 controller, 1.5kW spindle (spindle running separately from controller). It’s all working great - homing & moving around the table as expected. I’m using Openbuilds Control (the XPRO guys reccommend CNCjs but I find the Openbuilds interface much nicer to use. I’ve used Fusion for years for modelling but not used the Manufacturing end of it too much. I’ve got the opensource/grbl post processor sorted, just wondering if it’s best to set up the Machine Profile (when creating a new Manufacturing setup) from scratch or are there some available to use? Or do you just use one of the Generic 3-axis Machines already loaded into Fusion? Thanks in advance for any info you guys may have.

The machine profile is not that useful in Fusion - the correct post processor is the bit that matters. I haven't set up a machine profile at all.

No worries, thanks Alex - I suspected as much! The values it asks for seemed pretty arbitrary for setting up an actual work piece.

    Cheers
