Negative, 1605 and its ballnut will not fit inside C-Beam. Nor will it pass between the wheels (too large). Also, the increased weight and enertia will cause issues. The 5mm pitch of a 1605 is far slower than our 8mm pitch leadscrews just from a pitch perspective even before factoring decreased acceleration for the heavier screw into account. Overall just a bad match on so many points...
Thanks! I'm looking toward routing, milling some light alum, and plasma cutting more than printing or other faster applications, The acel factor vs inertias is a good call.
Our machines does all those tasks with ease and speed, using our 8mm leadscrews. See LEAD1010, LEAD1515, LEAD PLASMA etc
