24v power supply amps

    Hi there.

    I have a stock lead 1010 with nema23s and the 24V/14.6A MeanWell power supply.

    I was just hoping to have it also power a Dm542+nema17 for A axis rotary work.

    Will the power supply be able to supply enough current? A general guess since I didn't supply all the specs for calculation.

    Yes, should be fine.

    NEMA17 at 1.7A with 3V coils = 3v x 1.7A = 5.1w per coil * 2 coils = 10.2w for the motor. Factor in some losses in driver and its unlikely to be over 20w (Our PSU is a 350w)
