The gantry moves up and down with a static load of 10 kg suspended on one side. I have built the model and as it is unbalanced, i am finding it difficult to make sure that all the rollers are functioning during operation. I need some help with the wearing load calculations and open for suggestions as well. i have attached a step file and a few images of my model. Thank you
You will need eccentrics on all wheels to get everything to center properly. Can you give us an idea of how you intend to attach the load and in which direction it is acting?
And if the load is so heavy that you need to constrain it that much, is a 2040 the right profile? Refer How to calculate V-Slot® deflection
