My ACRO had a bit of a rough trip on its way here. Has anyone tried gluing these? Will acetone work with this plastic?

Yes, I can always bond a plate on the outside and make it work but I was hoping to keep the repair as discrete as possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

CA glue tends to bond weakly to Acrylics.

Look on amazon for Acrylic cement - the signage industry uses it extensively for making acrylic signs. Its like a solvent, melts the two sides of the joint together.
Thin, almost water liquid, you can flow it into gap after bringing parts together
