Advice please,router,milling build

    Hello All,
    This is my first post hopefully I am posting my request in the right section I am looking to build a heavy duty router so I can also mill metal on it I am thinking 4'x4' metal frame using 1/2 inch and 3/8 flat bars,I been reading on many forums which made me very confused l am thinking to use nema 23 close loop motors on x,y axis 4.2 kw water cooled spindle 30mm linear rails and 1 inch no backlash ball screw for control I will use mach3 software please guide me if this will work fine for me or there is any better setup,waiting for the answer.

    Do you have a CAD drawing we could see to get an idea of how it will be put together?

    For something that large you'll probably need to go with structural steel tubing to get it anywhere near stiff enough.

    Thanks guys,I have no drawings yet will look drawings on internet then modify it to my requirement (start learning 360 cad drawing)I am going to use 1/2 inch and 3/8 steel plates flat bar,I did looked drawings here on the forum but I couldn't find anything(maybe I am new to the forum) it will be really helpful if someone can post drawing links here I need also advice about electronics and motion.
