Hey guys. Im back with another dumb question with hopefully an easy answer. I have tried inserting multiple SVG files and i tried to make my own in illustrator and for whatever reason i get it to look how i want in the design space. But when i move to the mfg space to choose my pockets (pocketing the letter and number) it does this weird selection thing and does not work correctly. Any ideas to what's going on here? I'm going INSANE.
I got this one close to where i want it. For some reason it will not cut through the number 3 the whole way and separated it into two different pockets? plus trying to select the pockets is really strange on this one. Please take a look and let me know if you see something wrong. Also, feel free to critique me on anything else that looks out of place as I'm still new to F360. Thank you!
The reason the number 3 isnt cutting all the way through is because there isnt enough space for the end mill to get in there. You can see the top transition from the middle is skinnier than the bottom transition from the middle. If you remove your "stock to leave" setting you'll be fine. Or use a smaller endmill.
It took me a while to figure out why you are doing the text in AI and not fusion... So, yes, looks fine.
i had originally downloaded an svg file with all of the scrabble letters. I figured it would be easier. I was only using AI to separate them more easily. Thanks!
