    Hi All,
Yesterday, the Y-axis of my Workbee 1010 did not move. As I normally do, I set everything up for a cut and started a homing cycle, which failed. I have been cutting weekly through the summer, so it's worked well up to this point. I'm curious if any of you could recommend the best steps for troubleshooting this issue. Which would be the best steps to do first, second, third, etc.? The Workbee is the base model with the NEMA 23 motors and xPro v4 controller.
    Thanks much,
    Eric

first check cable connections, fuse, etc
connect the Y motor to X or Z and confirm it moves ok (you probably need to disable homing to do this).
if the motor is ok then it points to the connections on Y or the driver chip.

Perhaps through all of the vibrations of the CNC this summer, one of the small wires had apparently shifted enough off of the lead to where a connection wasn't being made (it still appeared connected, but some of the wire was now exposed). We simply tightened some of the screws on the board and it works. Easy fix. Thanks for your response.
