    Hello

Does the original Black Box have the ability to Pause and Restart e.g. I want to leave the room but dont want a job running while I pop out and want to resume when I return, could be a minutes to overnight worse case.

If so how does it work please? Does the milling head lift off the workpiece and park and then when you hit resume it starts up and returns to its position. Can that be operated by physical panel switches on the electronics box rather than by software?

and how does the Door Open facility work ? just like an emergency stop and everything stops or similar to Pause/Restart if that exists?

I'm changing over from a laser to a mill and want to make sure I have everything sorted . Thank you

Pause/ Resume buttons are present in CONTROL. Overnight pauses are fine.

Lifting the router up requires a Door and Parking config (Custom Compile): Door Open / Feed Hold Behavior

NEVER use the Door input as an EMERGENCY stop. An Emergency might be a PSU that caught on fire (software based pause is not going to help in that emergency). Hand getting degloved on spinning surfacing bit (you really want to wait out the Parking motion first?)

    For an E-Stop you want:
    Wall Socket > https://www.rockler.com/safety-power-tool-switch > Power Strip > Machine/router/laser/dustextractor/everythingelse

That way no matter what the emergency is, you can slam it and save the day without spending time thinking it through which button to hit

Thank you for that info, it was not my intention to use it in that fashion was just wondering how it worked more than anything else.
