In the power supply section of the docs for the black box it states: "Before connecting your power supply to mains power, it is critical that you check and set the 115v/230v Switch on the right-side of the PSU" docs:blackbox:connect-psu [OpenBuilds Documentation] My question is: Is 115/230 a setting or do you need to select one or the other? I cant find any indication on the docs that you want to select one or the other on the power supply unit. Thanks
You need to select one or the other. There's a switch on the power supply. I believe it comes with 230 pre selected. If you're in the States then change it to 110. There should be a giant yellow sticker on it.
Is it one of our Meanwell LRS350s or are you using some other power supply brand from somewhere else, our docs of course refers to our products (which has the switch, and sticker): The documentation also has pictures showing exactly what that refers to) See docs:powercase:start [OpenBuilds Documentation] and docs:blackbox:connect-psu [OpenBuilds Documentation] You should know if you are in a country using 110-120v or 220-240v - if you don't know that, get an electrician in to come help with the wiring before an expensive or fatal mistake happens.
