    I recently finished my Leed 1515 build. I purchased the nema 23 high torque openbuilds steppers for it (in hopes of doing some aluminum CNC in the future). It runs great and i have already done some tests in MDF. the only question i have is if i need to adjust the blackbox to match up with the higher current stepper motors? the steppers are really loud. Everything is set as it came from openbuilds.

    Stock settings are good for 90% of standard builds. You can adjust, but noisy is good, we focus on strong and reliable, quiet steppers are quite irrelevant once the Endmill starts making chips (;
