    Hello!

I'm trying to use this brushless motor as my spindle motor for my harbor freight cnc mini mill conversion.
    https://www.allelectronics.com/item/dcm-2460/24-vdc-brushless-motor-600-watt/1.html

It uses a 5k potentiometer to control the spindle.

Would I be able to wire this into the blackbox for spindle output without a VFD?

I am planning on putting a hall effect sensor to track spindle speed.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Sadly no, they don't seem to accept PWM or 0-10v (both industry standard) control signals

How unfortunate. Would it be possible to translate those control signals? @Peter Van Der Walt

Not easily no, but you are welcome to discuss the need with the motor/motor controller vendor - see if they have a way to accept the standard signals. Or perhaps a different motor controller
