Just did the upgrade to Blackbox and Interface to my 2 year old UK WorkBee 750 X 1000. Limit sw problems and hard and soft limit issues. Y1 and Y2 are out of sync. Do I need to start all over with the Original WorkBee set up to include re tramming Y axis? Servo wiring had my head spinning for something that was supposed to be plug and play. Got that sorted out but servos particularly Y axis motors are acting strangely. Switching color code wires to make it work seemed incorrect. What OpenBuilds WorkBee size machine most closely mimics the 750 X 1000 UK model as far as homing limits and working limits? As you can probably tell by my strange questions I am a total novice. Thanks DW
Disable Soft Limits initially. Needs good working homing first, so disable for now Switch issues = most likely wiring, but also make sure you get the good switches (onboard filtering etc) : Xtension Limit Switch Kit Tramming counts as regular maintenance so not a bad plan Tramming: A generic guideline I mean why wouldn't you want a perfectly square setup Sounds like a wiring issue: docs:blackbox-x32:faq-identify-motor-coils [OpenBuilds Documentation] Probably the 1010, but you can just grab a backup off your old controller and restore it to your new one. That way you have your tweaked setup back as a base to work from CONTROL > Grbl Settings tab > Backup / Restore settings buttons on the main toolbar
