I have a Genmitsu PROverXL which works perfectly well with the 4X. The installation of the X32 was a little complex, the system obliging me to deactivate the hard limits. Here is the procedure I used to install it: 1 - Flashing the firmware by erasing the stored data. 2- Custom machine and hard limit declaration 3 - Modification of the parameters for home, length X,Y,Z and steppers At startup, I no longer have an alarm as before, everything works perfectly (motors, spindle, home, soft limits, probe, coolent) Only the Door function does nothing. On the other hand, as soon as the parameters for the wifi connection are memorized, error at launch, home inaccessible, well....crash. I think there is a bug in the wifi management, and I really regret the firmware from Peter's for the 4X (grbl with door and z parking)
Please update firmware: Use Web Builder to build the latest (with your preferences, door is a tickbox but parking needs manual compile) http://svn.io-engineering.com:8080/?driver=ESP32&board=BlackBox X32 and flash firmware.bin from CONTROL > Wizards and Tools > Firmware flashing tool > X32 > Custom That bug was fixed a while back: WiFi \ Hard limit error · Issue #61 · grblHAL/ESP32
Thanks Peter for you quick answer, tried to build but fails, i redo it ! Why this bug still exist in official firmware wizard download ?
