BlackBox X32 GRBL error

I just installed an X32 on my X-Carve this afternoon. When I installed it and tried to do XYZ homing operation, the cutter moved from the proper position over the XYZ Plus probe hole at the left front corner of the job and moved to the center of the wasteboard. I did an abort, and now the entire system has a repeating HARD LIMIT Stop error saying it needs to be homed before anything, but the system will not home. It keeps giving the same HARD LIMIT STOP ERROR. Here is a copy of the log,

I've corrected the hard limit error and can now move the cutting head, but I still can not get the XYZ probe to work. It either does nothing but says its working or it moves to the center of the waste board and begins searching

 

Trying to update the firmware with the Flash tool, but it gives me this error as soon as it starts to write it. I feel like I'm missing a simple step but can't see it right now.
