My blackbox X32 is mounted at the rear of my cnc table and is not always easy to get to, the power supply is connected to a switch at the front of the table. Is it okay to leave the X32's power switch always on, allowing the X32 to turn on and off as the power supply is turned on and off?

Yes, that is acceptable - if its a Meanwell PSU (as recommended) - on some 3rd party PSUs I would warn against it as the lower quality PSUs can surge at power up - we've had some scary ones on the test bench. The Meanwell is good though.
