    Hi all.
I was wondering what the difference was in lengths of the C Beam aluminium extrusion and the length of a screwed rod/shaft? I presume it must be quite a common relationship as everybody seems to use the same steppers, spacers, connections etc. I am wanting to build a desktop CNC but can't order the leadscrew for a 600mm length of extrusion. Many thanks! (sorry, I meant Leadscrew in the title...)

C-Beam + 40mm = length of the 8mm Leadscrew. 40mm covers the 2x12mm thick endplates and entry into the shaft coupler
    500mm actuators, has a 540mm screw. 1500mm actuators have a 1540mm screw.
