I'm trying to order materials, C-Beam lengths e.g. To clarify, the gap is the distance from the C-beam to the bottom of the gantry plate? and the plate thickness is 6mm? this implies to me that the total from the C-Beam surface to the top of the gantry plate is 7.5mm typically?
Yes, 7.5mm would be correct. Typical gap is based on using 6mm spacers with the double V-wheels or 6mm spacers + 1mm shim with the mini V-wheels.
