C-Beam XL

    I am doing a rebuild on a C-Beam XL , The build online seems to be missing a huge number of pictures. Is there another place I can find the build instructions? A few things just don't don't seem right.

    That link does not show the detail I am looking for. This link C-Beam Machine XLarge looks like it may but the pics are missing. The video I am uploading will show the issue I am running into. Before I dismantled the machine I do not recall the set screws hitting anything. I made no modifications to the Y or X axis other than the X as shown in the attached pic. So I have to believe I screwed up somewhere....

    I should add that both X & Y axis have the same issue

    Do review page 36 of the PDF linked above - if you skipped making a seating spot on the leadscrew with a file as instructed, the screw will be a little higher than expected

    Pulled one of the Y axis apart and the previous owner did not create a seating spot. Just one of many things he did not do. Did I mention that even with all of this the price was still almost a steal.
